I figured I might as well be the one to point this out, but decreasing the value of sinking ships has horribly backfired in my opinion. The CPR has clearly become a sapp war now and the majority of clans dont even have to work on sinking ships as you can just throw up a few mercant flags and fish all day long. Essentially what I am getting at is that the current scoring system change was far to drastic and has now created an even worse imbalance. The points from boats should be kept comparable to fishing so that clans need to do both to be successful, maybe something more along the lines of:

Sinking a Warship: +1000 pts
Sinking a Longboat: +500 pts
Sinking a rowboat: +250 pts
Getting sunk: -500 pts
