| “Shhh… There’s another patrol commin’ around” Drago whispered. They were now along the city wall and had nearly escaped. The Bluinthian captain had stolen a sword, a knife, and a bow and quiver from the armory they had just recently passed by. As the patrol came near, the three jumped out of the shadows, but this time the Weduioians weren’t as surprised. The three managed to kill a few of them before the remaining seven drew their swords and surrounded them. “Oh gods…” Drago heard Araman mutter. The sergeant took a step forward and said “You are under arrest. Under the char—“ Solon thrust his sword at the sergeant’s gut, but he parried it and sneered, “To think you’re a captain.” At that Drago suddenly reacted, pulling out his sword and parting one’s head from his shoulders, spun around and killed another before anyone had time to react or realize what was going on and he just continued to kill them, one by one. A well placed kick in the jaw broke the neck of one and killed him instantly. Another was knocked to the ground and killed, and yet another fell to his blade before they had done anything. He stopped and glared, glancing into the eyes of each of the remaining patrolmen. “Which of you is next?” he glared into their eyes seeing their fear as they realized what they were up against. The boy they had come to know as a simple nuisance was quite suddenly a huge threat and they slowly began to back away. Drago growled, not to keen on letting them get away and he launched himself at the nearest Weduioian soldier, killed him with a sword in the heart, and then proceeded with killing two more before the last patrolmen bolted off at top speed. Drago about started after them, but stopped as he saw Solon take the bow, aim carefully and loose an arrow before the darkness could hide him from sight. The patrolmen dropped to the ground, with an arrow through his skull. |
