Subject: what has pay got to do with it? | |||||
If you are marketing a game and wish to recruit new players you need to present these players with as fresh a canvas as possible. Admin who have not logged in for a year is a bad look for this product. It screams - We don't really care about our product - so why should anyone play a game where the owners don't seem to be bothered? It will become like w2 and w3 where on any given day, all of 4 people may log in at any one time. Do you understand my point yet? If you are given a position of responsibility and you cannot fulfill the requirements of the position, (whether you are paid or not to do this job), you should not retain the position. Do you get my point yet? probably not, you are ensconced in your world of play where the skies are tangerine no doubt. I could keep arguing that it is bad business for a game to retain staff and admin, voluntary or otherwise, who don't log in or play the game, but you will keep replying that you are happy with the game, therefore it is a great game etc etc etc. |
