| Arianna listened as Jack spilled his thoughts to her. Then Jack slumped over and slid to the ground. He looked so tortured. Arianna sat next to him in silence for a moment. She placed her hand on his arm and spoke to him calmly and tenderly. "You are much more powerful than you believe. You were never meant to be an acolyte, but you were trained as one. For someone who was never supposed to be an acolyte, you are very powerful. Maybe you should try your hand at the bow or sword. I think you would surprise yourself." |
