Subject: The Story Begins | |||||
| Liani's Re-birth The Dark Lord, her adopted father and the one who took her as a baby had finally found her and taken her back to his home in the darkest part of a nearby forest. Having been taken back to the home she grew up in, Liani was forced to undergo a re-birth. Liani was locked in a dark room where, against her will, darkness creped into her very soul once again, turning her soul dark as it had done when she was just 10 years of age. Hours and hours passed and more darkness seeped into her slowly. Liani fought hard to keep her soul pure but soon lost the strength to fight the over powering darkness that surrounded her. Having used up all her strength to no avail, Liani passed out and the darkness creped faster into her soul, turning it completely dark. Liani awoke the next morning, feeling dizzy and confused as to what had happened to her the night before. She walks out of the room and made her way to her adopted fathers study and greeted him as if nothing had happened to her. Her father then sends her to the nearby town to have some dark fun. ~IMPORTANT NOTE~ After her re-birthing process, Liani remembers nothing of her life in the Westlands. In her mind, she is still the dark assassin maiden of The Dark Lord with no ties to anyone at all.  --------------------------------------------------------------------- Liani's first encounter Upon entering the town, Liani made her way to the local tavern, The Lute and Swords, and makes her way to dark corner to sit. Tho she is unsure of the place, she feel welcomed there until she feels eyes upon her. She look around only to find the eyes of a stranger set on her. After a brief encounter with a gambler, who was killed by the stranger, she joins him for a drink. Repayment for his kindness, only her name, Liani Da'hern. The stranger told her that he felt that he knew her from the past but was unsure as to how. This troubled her a little as she was only 19 and didnt get away from home that often. After a few hours, Liani and the stranger, who called himself Sir Walter Drake, left for Arelia, Liani being invited there by Walter as his guest. After arriving and a confession given, Liani was left holding a silver rose broach, which later she fastened to her cloak next to her blood red broach so that she didnt lose it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Liani's Identity revealed to Fintan Fintan had made his way to Dark Lord's house and had knocked on the door. Dark Lord allowed the door to open and for Fintan to enter his home. Greetings were said and they began to talk. The two spoke for a few more moments about Liani, discussing whether or not Rogue being spared was a flaw or not. Dark Lord said it was because not killing was a weakness, Fintan said it was not a weakness because it showed compassion with in his mind is a strength and shows you know when to kill and when to let live. Deciding that there was no trouble he started to leave. Just then, it dawned on Rogue who this man may be after he and Dark Lord agreed that dragons were filthy. Fintan learned that Dark Lord's daughter Liani and Liani Osiris were the same person, her turned around,and with saying "God Save the Queen of Dragons" fired a shot at Dark Lord, and in a very dramatic fashion like always declared Dark Lord to be an outlaw in the Dragon Kingdom and proceeded to try and kill him. Dark Lord then realized that Fintan was Liani's bodyguard, the same that had actually shielded her location somehow from him, for only her bodyguard would call her the Queen of Dragons and by her full birth name. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Liani's visit to the local town Liani made her way thru the forest, having not felt comfortable at Castle Kilmerna. Soon, after many hours of walking, she came to a river. She followed the river till she found a little stone bridge that allowed her to cross over to the other side. She continued on her way until she came across a town. She looked at the sign Town of Blackwater it said. She smiles and starts to walk thru the town slowly as she didn't know what to expect from the locals. She walked past shop after shop that were selling berries and animal skins untill she happened upon the Silver Maple Leaf Tavern. She slips inside the tavern seemingly unnoticed and found a dark corner to sit and watch the occupants. She leans back in her chair and eyes everyone that could be a threat to her and makes a mental note of their looks incase she need to deal with them later. ----------------------------------------------------------------- An encounter As Liani sat in the Silver Maple Leaf Tavern, keeping to herself, a man walks up and sits at her table. Get the hell away from me! she firmly tells him I dont think that I will be leaving such a lovely young woman all alone, Lass. her eyes turn dark and cold You WILL leave my table or else! the man laughs then made a mistake, He touched her arm slightly. She stands, pulling a dagger quickly and thrusting it into the mans heart. She pulls it out and licks the blood from it then walks out of the tavern, without any resistance of any kind |
