I just needed you t---" His words were cut off by Ry's voice. "Why is Arianna here? What did you do?!! I told you to keep her safe not send her to her death!" He was outraged. "Relax. She wanted to come here. I tried to ---" "So she did betray us..." "No, no... She wanted to save you." Tom stopped short. "Huh? Wha-why am I--" "He's starting to leave Vaugn's body." Tom regained control. "I don't have time to explain. Just trust her." And with that. He left the room. |
