| Once the door was closed behind them, Arianna turned toward Sophia. "What are we going to do?" Arianna said in an anxious whisper. "I can't just let him die!" She could feel her face was red with anger and frustration. Her voice shook, threatening to give out. Arianna suddenly realized that she needed to calm herself down before her emotions got to out of hand. The guard would certainly notice if the room suddenly went up in flames. Taking deep breaths she paced back and forth in the room. Arianna looked back to Sofia, who seemed rather calm. She had always been better at concealing her emotions. "What are we going to do?" Tears were blurring her vision now. |
