Websters online dictionary defines a 'clam' as:

a : any of numerous edible marine bivalve mollusks living in sand or mud
b : a freshwater mussel.

Etymology: clam; from the clamping action of the shells
Date: circa 1520

What this has to do with Dark Warriors though is unclear, but I intend to investigate fishing in great detail to see if I can locate this elusive 'clam' that Newbies need to 'join' with (I hope that is not in any way 'sexually aided').
