| summarizing for you.....with the introduction of equipment with better stat power..the 100+ and 400+ which are available to level 1 players at really exorbitant prices..since only a few players can afford these gears..one cud say the demand for would be higher than the supply available..hence incredibly riduclous prices of say Tritons gear... however,these gears are bought by other players who may be able to afford it... the small time trader with his PS and WH...knowing and seeing players buying expensive stuff as well as all the increases in market prices...(all the markets)..it would tell him that he cud raise the price of his small 20+ gear and still blend in because the economy is inflating...the value of the gold does not cover the perceived value of the item...therefore price discrimination measures need to be put into place to maximize profits...most times increase in price is the easiet way...if u cant buy it..someone else can..that is the theory.. has everyting to do with economics |
