you write well beyond your years...or is it me getting old? Either way, I like it, thanks for sharing it. It just reminded me of an old song I wrote about this and that, & one of the verses went: Father Time, he's been loitering with intent, he said some things, but I'm not sure what they meant, he said the flowers are growing so statuesque, he said the people are turning so grotesque. He knows what's going down, is what you never see. He knows that killing time is killing all you be at your graveside. God, I was depressive back then! Hahaha! And no, I'm not a poet!  My point was that you gave Time a persona too...Mistress. It's interesting how we see time as a living entity, we can almost feel its presence...or maybe that's me getting....yeah,yeah...grandpa's gonna shut up now! You know what I mean, you're a clever girl. Nice one Seffy.  |
