| when you buy something, a skill in Devious Ridge for example, bugs can happen. You can buy the same skill twice. So if you don't want it to happen, you can only keep what you need in order to buy the skill on your account page, and place the rest in the markets. And obviously, because you don't want anyone to buy those, you place them at very high prices. Second. The fact that people can see what you're selling is a recent update of the game (well, recent...) and some placed things in the market in order to block spying and simply forgot they placed it there (yes, it happens) so it remains there. Third. Some simply hope the prices will be that crazy, some day. Look at the evolution in the element markets, for example...I remember a time (now I sound like old people) when you could buy them for 5 millions each, and look how it increased. So you can always 'store' ressources at very high prices and let them sleep there, who knows someday someone will buy them. Happened before, Elodin gained several millions simply because he placed sapphires he did not need at ridicilous prices and well, they got sold, even if he completely forgot about them. |
