| you get one try per set of orbs. So when you collect all the orbs, you give these to the nice gentleman and he proposes a choice between two potions. If your karma is negative, the effect will be on your health. If your karma is zero or positive, the effect will be on your max energy. The effect is permanent (not linked to revives or reset). He takes them away, so you have to gather another complete set of orbs before taking the gamble again. If you collect all four in the same revive, you'll have access to the potions in the same revive. For example, if you lost the gamble and halved you HP (on a permanent basis) you may be too weak to defeat the monsters protecting the orbs and you won't be able to collect them again. Three orbs locations are 'stable' (ice, earth, fire) and the location of the lighting orb moves from time to time (once so far). so, there is seafare (ice), caves in dark forest (fire), mines level 4 (earth) and hidden location. |
