| why introduce it? I'm not saying it won't work out, but if you know it won't work then why do it? I think you are establishing a mechanism that allows players to anonymously tell a player that they are disliked and unwanted. I think you are also providing a mechanism that allows a group of players to demonstrate publicly that a certain player is disliked and unwanted. DW is a computer game and a virtual society, but in the real world we call these behaviours "bullying". Is that the intended purpose? If not, you'd better be sure that isn't the result, because bullying is not a joke even in a virtual reality - people kill themselves over it. I think you need to add to the rules that any player who organises a campaign of bullying in DW will be immediately jailed, and you might be clear about your definition because most clans support their members in ways that are sometimes unkind to others. |
