| Life, like dw, is full of choices. Its those choices that define us, not the circumstances, not the "injustice", the choice. You can choose to play the game, choose to quit the game, choose to put money into the game (investing in something you love and enjoy so you continue to do so) or you can choose to cheat. There is no over lap. Innocent players do NOT cheat, cheaters cheat. People who think they like the game, yet who defy it and try and take from it what they have not earned. Look to the other worlds for the outcome of more lenience towards cheating, they are dead. More "free" areas/perks would be great but there are limits, with things like secret passage weve all got much greater ability to get more resources, assuming youre active to get them at revives often enough to make a difference. Same goes with ore farm, both give us free resources. Its slow going but far less than in the other worlds or as it was in the past. If you put enough time into building on your character you will be great, there is no instant gratification in the game (like most others) short of buying it with real cash. But there is nothing in game you "need" to purchase, its just a way of easing the stress of doing these tasks. Cheating hurts everyone, makes the devs lose money, makes the rest of us get tighter restrictions and less new features, and for what, so some punk can be a little better? You can romanticize them all you like but they are just lazy and selfish. Anyone so defeated by the game they feel the need to cheat needs to find a new game, its not that hard, and the games obviously not the place they want to be around when they are so consumed by spenders and corruption, rather than taking part in it. If you saw someone pummeling a child in the streets do you join in, or do you remove yourself from situation? (and hopefully get help, poor imaginary kid..) |
