| I've been part of enough TF skype chats to know these are lively. In game IM is a piece of shit. I won't use it, and no one has ever said "hey, hit me up on the in game IM." Mail is inefficient unless your target audience is one person. Why should we have to use skype to communicate in a game that is largely centered around socialization? But if you want to talk about dead forums, I would consolidate to about five total forums for any given player. One global game discussion, one global non-game discussion, one clan discussion, one clan miscellaneous ( this one is debatable and mostly cause I'm feeling generous), and one city specific forum. That's it. I've never really understood the need for all the different forums. I'm not including the one(s) for dev/player interactions. |
