| ...is a nickname that I got in the real world that has more or less become my gamer tag (I use it for most accounts with PC games as well as online ones). Scabernac is a combination of scars and the French (possibly only French-Canadian, not sure) curse tabernac. The scars come from the large scars running down my left arm and on my head from a car accident back in 2005 or 2006 (cannot really remember now). Tabernac is considered a curse because it is a sacrilegious play on Tabernacle (dwellings of God on Earth), taking the term in vain. The friend used this word due to how much Metal I listen to, especially at the time a fair bit of Black Metal (which of course tends to be anti Abrahamic religions --- note that just because the music I listen to can be anti Abrahamic does not mean that I myself am against Judaism, Christianity, or Islam). Therefore... Scars + Tabernac = Scabernac |
