| that a lot of it depends on one's personal isp and what data being dl/up. I am on a very slow 100Mb fiber line, and still find that there are times, not always, but some times where there tends to be lag. For each time, the lag is not always specific meaning (where I am) at the time of the lag. In my particular case, the current iMac I use to log onto this site is one of the older models. So in most cases, I would have to point fingers at my set up. On the other hand, some sites I visit with this system require larger amount of memory for the browser. Which was one suggestion I did not see being made, whether that makes any difference for a game that is mostly based on text. So perhaps in your browser settings set the cache size larger, especially if your view several sites at any given time. Generally, this site runs pretty smooth and very few issues ever pop up. I could and would if I could point fingers at some other online game browser games where you stare for ages at a spinner. |
