I'm saying that the games that are successful are the ones whose developers try to make something innovative and entertaining as their first priority, and then they charge either for the software or for its monthly usage. Needless to say, most sensible people don't fancy shelling out a couple hundred $ a month to play any game, and no one likes the idea of a game that is centered around the dynamic of trying just to pay more than everyone else. Why pay $50+ to change a couple bytes of game data (elements) when the same amount could buy you a top-of-the-line PC or console game? You can't defend it, because it simply doesn't make sense. You know this. Once Felt realizes this, we'll have a much better game. |
