| User info like age, last activity, class, clan, battle record, and even subby status is viewed often, and should remain public. The whole point of Karma and Spectra is for everyone to see it. It's (more) useless if it's hidden. As for friends, relationships, and clan donations... what's there to be ashamed of? If you associate with someone, there's really no reason to hide it. You have a well-structured idea, but it goes against the premise that players should be able to know certain information about each other. It's not as if anyone's going to hate you for what they see on your profile page. The only thing this would bring into the game is frustration, and maybe an extra edge for people who had already spent lots of money on the game, because they could look just like any other player. |
