| but bone doesnt so depending on how decayed the bodies are, the floating thing may not be a problem... are we allowing for skeletal zombies? or only corpses that still have flesh on them? Also, I think it would depend on how the zombie apocalypse came about. If it is one of those situations where the dead rise and not just where living people are infected, then you have many many dead persons already on the bottom of the ocean in various levels of decay that could come back as well. The currents are still somewhat of a problem though... however if you do allow for skeletal zombies, and the dead rising instead of just spreading infection, then the shear numbers of dead rising in the oceans would counter the ability of currents to wash them all away... sooner or later one would make it past the currents between those on land and those under the water... assuming that they know your there... following this line though and my island idea is not much better beyond not having to go to land for provisions so likely to take longer before some reanimated dead people show up. |
