| What you say is true, I don't think I've ever been in newbie chat. I think you nailed it: the incentive should relate to active recruitment. Although, no one ever pounced on me, I was able to find my way to a very helpful group (luckily!) which is why I'm still around. Any clan can keep inactives lying around to inflate membership numbers. |
