I don't really know how many times I can repeat myself on this same issue.

I make sure I show up on the game every single day without fail. I think asking for a weekly visit is more than fair. If for some reason you are going to be busy with real life then place yourself into vacation mode, it protects you from lumber drops and also saves on subscription days.
