| It could be done ex post facto for older players. That is, players with mining levels above 1 could get the bonus for every level they'd gained in the past. So really, this isn't grounds to shoot down an idea. One weak point in the idea, though is "so non-subby have something more to do". Something more to do is not always a good thing. After all, it's a text-based game, not something meant for spending hours on at once. And even if it did give something more to do, it's only a minute's worth, at most. |
