It can be used in the slated hut to make it bigger.
It can be used in sea faring to make the boat hulls.

It can be used in a special event to improve the buildings in town, or fix them after a major tragedy happens. A tornado could hit and destroy a lot of the buildings in town, so prices of items increase, and are limited.

But its just an idea.
