| Liani knew that her brother was off fighting in another world but knew of his daughters doings in this world. It pained her to have to face her daughter without him at her side. As she thought of her brother and her daughter, she held her mothers pendant close to her heart, it reminded her of her mother and the hard choice she made long ago and that the pendant led her to her brother after so many years. The pendant itself was of a symbolic likeness, made of dark, violet crystal in the shape of a cross surrounded in an ovular shape, the top and bottom of the cross sticking out of the oval slightly. The center of the cross glowed slightly with a dark, violet light that was, for the moment, dim. It was the twin to her brothers pendant, the other half, and always glowed bright when he was near her. She knew what her daughter needed but she knew that she could not let Twili get a hold of it. Twili needed both halves of the pendant, The pendant of Time and the Pendant of Space to form The Pendant of Time and Space. But, Liani also was facing her own troubles at this time and decided it was best to go into hiding not only to hide from the threat facing her, but to hide her pendant from Twili. Liani used her pendant and went back in time using her Pendant of Time to change her appearance and name then returned unannounced. Twili wouldn't know who she was but Liani would be able to watch over her beloved daughter in hopes of freeing her from the books spell. |
