| SilentShiftess~ *Basic Info* She a young woman that looks to be around nineteen but no one (including her) is for sure. Her hair is about an inch under her shoulders in loose wavy ringlettes of dark brown and black. Her bangs hang low, right above her eyes. She has perfectly trimmed eyebrows and long dark eyelashes that bring the attention to her most intriguing feature: Her bright green eyes. They are a part of her past life, a happy, carefree life. A life that she has long left behind... Her Story~ She was a shifter. A long lost breed of non-human, or so people thought. Her kind was far and inbetween now-a-days, mostly keeping their gifts to themselves, hiding them in a world of human dominance. Shifters themselves mostly specialized as one type of animal, but Silent is different in that she is able to choose whatever form she wishes. She cannot change her human shape though, her cells are attuned to that particular form and for good reason, if they were rearranged too much, they may not be able to remember her true form and she would be stuck in whatever she is at the time of shifting. Shifters are also different from weres in that they do not have to shift during a full moon. They may shift whenever and still maintain their mind state and be in complete control of their body. Silent first came to Westland as a carefree cat-shifter going by the name of KatieCat. She was happy and fun-loving always wanting to make new friends and explore. She met the love of her life in SilenceAlliance Graywind and when they were married she thought that she couldnt be happier. Then he left on a journey, to where or for what, she did not know. But for whatever reason, he did not come back and Katie was heartbroken and depressed for many months. Her sadness left her to anger and hatred, not for SilenceAlliance but for herself. She began to loathe herself for making him leave. She never wanted to shift to her human shape and stayed as a cat, living on the streets and in the forest. Then after a long while, she began to train. For hours on end she would fight and train her body. Her muscles began to harden under her olive skin and she was faster than she had ever been before. She also worked her mind, she began learning the lost art of shifting into different shapes. She mastered many different forms and is now able to shift into most anything she wishes. With her mind being trained so hard for so long, she was soon finding herself able to slip into the minds of those around her, reading thoughts and memories and even being able to talk to them inside their own heads. She now keeps mostly to herself, though her past personality still pops up every once in a while. She wears many weapons hidden on her body under her dark black cloak, even though she rarely needs them, their cold steel against her skin makes her feel safe when not much else does... |
