| As Nadia collapsed to the ground from her fatigue, Zaos quickly moved to her side and held her from falling completely to the floor. As he held her to him, he could feel her weakness and the pain of Skalana's blood bonding with Nadia's. He knew of only one solution that would save her... She would have to drink his blood. A risk, and perhaps a sacrifice, he was willing to make, if it meant keeping her safe. Making a cut along his collarbone, he gently held her head next to his, her lips near his neck, and softly uttered one word. "Drink." He gently shifted his neck closer to her lips, his faith in her unshakable. He knew the risks of exposing her to his blood, the blood that vampires the world 'round would literally kill to have even a single taste of. Yet, even knowing this, he cared not, for the only thing upon his mind was the safety of his only true blood relative who remained within this world. "Onee-chan... I have faith in you. Drink." |
