| The power of the Shard Many have seen DarkBlossom produce a shard of crystal that glows for her hands that can be used like a weapon. I have been asked to clarify upon this shard and what it is and does. The origins of the shard comes from the heart and soul of the character. Blossom is a light source for the world, light to fight the darkness and evil that festers directly within another. She cannot use the shards to kill nor can she place them in the ground or on tables to let them soak up the nasty stuff. The shard is an extension of her light, her heart and love for mankind in whole. Blossom is the ultimate holder of hope. If Pandora’s box were a person, Blossom would be that person and the vessel that carried mankinds hope within her. Some might think that this is a God modding type attribute, however it is not ( please keep reading I will explain ) Blossom is an ancient, her soul has been reborn more times then she even knows. Every life she is set to wander with a mission by the Gods and up until the last life, she was always a pure light. In the life she lived before this one, Blossom had been captured by Lucifer, and he corrupted her light into pure darkness and evil. He saturated her and changed the whole of her being so that Lucifers Son would have a power no other could. In that life she was called Raven Nyght. Raven was the complete opposite of what Blossom is now. Raven was given to King Graywind to be his wife. Lucifer bound her to him so that the darkness she held and festered with would corrupt the King and make him even more evil than he already was. Raven once more became a light when she died because of the pure unselfish act she ended her life with. When the death happened the ancient was set to sleep for a period of time. During this time the gods cleansed her of the evil to once more make her pure. When reborn, Blossom was once more the light of all hope for mankind. And here is where the shards come into play. The shard as stated is an extension of herself. The manifestation of pure light, love and hope. When someone is infected with an evil or darkness, she has the ability to form a crystal that can be embedded into someone for a direct feed of good energy to battle the bad. Things the Shard Cannot Do ( is why it is not God modding ) - Cannot Kill - Cannot shift a person between good and evil - Cannot mind control another - Cannot be used like a bomb - Cannot time travel - Cannot alter perceptions like a drug Things the Shard Can Do - Absorb dark energy from someone - Help to cleanse the evil and darkness out of a person - Contain the darkness from someone within itself - Can only be received as a gift from Blossom because the ones she embeds in your body will dissolve from their physical state to leave only the energy and light in its place - When given as a gift it is hard to manipulate the shard into anything that will hurt another, however, if a person wishes to have the shard do this, it can be done over time. - Can be corrupted after a lot of magick forced onto it or a great strength of will and manipulation People who have the shard already as a gift: - King Graywind - Scabernac - Tsara Shelissa |
