Subject: Onee_Chan ~ aka Nadia

History as she remembers but there are gaps.
She was born in the dead of night and just hours after was taken to be the daughter of who she called "The Dark Lord". He raised her as his own and tried to teach her the ways of dark magic but seeing that she did not want to learn, he had her trained as an assassin.

The years passed slowly for her and her skills in combat became well refined. She had a motto that she now lived by,"Kill swiftly and without mercy" and that is how her battles always went. She learned that while staying her step-dad, time passed very slowly, she often wondered how old she really was, She looked as if she was 19 but knew she had to be older than that.

While on a mission one day for a man called "The Black Monster" she came to a house that was to be destroyed and the people living in it killed. Upon seeing the people, she knew she couldn't kill them and told them to flee the land. Having failed in her mission she fled to the forest and lived there till a price was put on her head.

(There is a 4 year gap here where Nadia assumed a false name and went into hiding, only to be seen in the company of Dargodda, her sworn protector. SEE ~ The Maidan and Her Protector for that story (posted here))

4years later, She came across a flourishing town called The Westlands and had decided to make it her home. She met a kind man called DLT who told her to join with WagaMama's guild and become part of Soldiers of The Dragons (SotD). There she learned how to become a great fighter and soon decided to leave and Make a name for herself in the lands.

She started a guild of her own, The Fearless Dragons(TFD). People flocked to join in her quest to become the most feared in the land. Her kingdom grew and she soon was called Queen by her people and hearing the plea's Adopted the name "Queen Nadia".

Many months had past and soon there was a time to hide once more as she prepared for all out war on a small tribe, Thus she changed her name to Silent Star and never was seen in battle for weeks. During her time of Silence she met the ruler of a neighboring Guild, He was called Graywind. Soon after they met, his people crowned him King and he changed his name to King Graywind.

Soon Nadia and Graywind started seeing each other more and more till one day he surprised her with the proposal of Marriage. She was overjoyed but knew that the father of her child must be kept secret for if he knew, it would mean her life.

Soon after the weeding Her beloved king asked her to take upon herself his name and Rule together so that day she became known as Queen Graywind.

For centuries, Nadia search for her true family, she longed to know who she was and where she came from. . Her father, King Magoo*, was always kind to her but knew nothing from before he adopted her as his own child. One day, her father decided that she needed a mother figure in her life and asked the Queen of Fairies, Aoibheal, to marry him and help raise his daughter. She kindly accepted this challenge. Little did she know that Nadia had unique gifts hidden from all... the power to change shape if the need arose. One day as Nadia and her new mother was walking through her mighty kingdom, she was attacked and changed into a half dragon half fairy. This came as a shock to both her and her mother. Nadia did not know that she could take the true form of her step-mother at all. With this new found power, her and her mother became even closer than ever before.

Now, Nadia would disappear at times into a secret room in her castle to think and reflect on her past. There in a gold lined box she kept a pendant. This pendant was very special to Nadia as it was her real mothers. The pendant was silver in color with a violet crystal on the front of it. It was from this pendant that Nadia was able to obtain her pure light. The only thing she remembered of her mother was a single sentence that her mother spoke as the ones who took her left their house so many centuries ago, "My child..Your Twin brother has the twin of this pendant in this world...the two pendants will find each other someday." With this knowledge, Nadia searched for her twin brother over the years.

One day, as Nadia was in the local pub after horrible dealings with an entity called "The Darkness", a kind soul entered the pub and offered to be her and her families guardian. His name Is Zaos. Nadia could feel a powerful healing light in him and accepted his services. Zaos made good on his word to protect her family and helped her free her last child from the hold Darkness had on him but at a cost, she could never be near him again or she would weaken. This did not bother her at all and would gladly be weakened in order to hug her son. The days went by and Nadia and Zaos spent many times at the pub talking about all things and all ways to protect her family.

One day as they talked, She noticed her pendant glowing. This was the first time that it had ever glowed and she knew what it meant, her twin brother was near. She thought to herself.."AT LAST!! he is near, my search is almost over." She told Zaos that she needed to be alone. She took her leave and returned to her castle in the kingdom of dragons. She left behind a watchman who lurked from within the shadows of the pub for any signs of anything that glowed a pure light.

Her watchman returned to her quickly for after she left, Zaos and her daughter Sarabi (Spirit_Lion) were talking and Zaos had showed her a pendant that glowed a pure light. With this news and not knowing what the pendant looked liked, Nadia sneaked back into the pub and watched carefully. As Zaos and Sarabi (Spirit_Lion) talked, Zaos described his pendant to her, Nadia gasped as she listened to Zaos, He was Describing her pendant. Could he be the one, Her Twin Brother, that she searched for all these centuries? Nadia began thinking of her mother and her last words and began to cry. Zaos picked up on Nadia's feelings and wondered what was wrong. All Nadia could do was hold her mothers pendant close to her chest. She must have dazed into her thoughts because she was thinking of her pendant and what it looked liked when Zaos stood in front of her shocked. Zaos joined Nadia at her table and wondered why she had closed her eyes and turned away from him ( she had never done that before this day). Nadia stilled her thoughts and opened her eyes to reveal their true color, Pure Diamond White. Zaos looked at her in amazement. He had heard her thoughts and knew of her pendant now. Slowly Nadia handed him her pendant to look at. Zaos couldn't move, There in his hand, he held his mothers pendant but it wasn't his, it was Nadia's pendant. After a few moments, Zaos slowly handed Nadia his mothers pendant, Nadia sat there unable to move or speak, for she now held in her hands her mothers pendant but It wasn't hers, it was Zaos' pendant.

Zaos and Nadia just sat and stared at each other for a few moments. Then Zaos told Nadia that he had the gift to see a persons bloodline and asked permission to look into her and see hers. Nadia had to know so she granted him permission. Soon, Zaos came out of a trance with a shocked looked on his face and spoke the name Onee-Chan. Upon hearing this name, Nadia began to cry, she remembered this name, it was Her name, her rightful birth name. Nadia and Zaos were over joyed in finding each other after all these centuries that they are often seen in the local pub chatting about there mother and father. Nadia hadn't known them but Zaos had and she wanted to know all he did. Zaos is now very protective of his twin sister and can sense when she is in danger or when something is wrong with or within her.

As the days went by, Nadia was always seen at the local pub, watching her family and thinking of her childhood more now that her and her brother were together again. Nadia would often sit at the back, alone and start to daydream and remember little pieces of herself and her past. One day, Nadia and her Brother were in the pub when all of a sudden she felt dizzy. She soon fainted but recovered quickly and decided to go for a walk in the nearby forest. On her way to the pub where her brother was waiting for her, she was shot in the shoulder with a poison arrow. She stumbled into the pub and collapsed next to her brother. Upon seeing his sister laying on the floor in front of him, Zaos raced out of the pub to gather herbs to put on her wounds. Upon returning, her son had already pulled the arrow out and thought he knew who had shot his mother. Zaos put the herbs on his sisters wounds and she quickly fell asleep there next to him. As she slept, she entered into a strange dream state. There she was, back in the dark shadow lands where she was raised. Darkness everywhere and shadows plenty. As she walked through her memories, she found The Forbidden Forest that she was never allowed to enter. But she thought, I can enter it now that I no longer am with him.

She slowly walked through the once forbidden forest and came across a temple. The temple was white with marble all-around. On the front of the temple there had been 2 names long since chipped away. She slowly entered the temple as if she was being drawn to it. Inside the temple, there were 2 glyphs on the walls. One was of light. The other of Dark. Nadia felt a rush go through her as she stood in the center of a large room. She quickly dropped to her knees holding her hands to her face, scared as she didn't know what was going to happen to her. Just as quickly as she dropped to her knees, she passed out. When she came to, she was outside the temple. She stood up and looked at her hands. There on each palm was a glyph, one of light and the other of dark. She didn't know what to make of this new power that she felt flowing through her. She walk back to a clearing only to have her eyes close on here as she came close to the castle where she was raised. She thought to herself, "why did my eyes close on me?" (She hadn't known yet that her eyes also changed while in the temple.)

Nadia woke to her brother next to her. Her wound was gone and the poison no longer flowing through her. She looked at her brother but again her eyes closed on her. Her brother looked at her and asked why she closed her eyes when she looked at him and she told him of the dream state she was in as they tended to her body. Zaos insisted that his sister open her eyes and look at him. She did as he asked and opened her eyes and looked into his. Just as he thought, her eyes were different now. One was still the Pure White but the other one was now a Pitch Black. Nadia was scared, she didn't know why her eyes changed. Nadia then show her brother her palms and the 2 glyphs that were now on them. Zaos knew what this meant, that his sister was now able to purify darkness just as he could. Her eyes were now sort of a warning tool when those who could harm her were near.

Soon Nadia learned to recognize the warning signs that her eyes gave her. As many people came close to her, she let her eyes tell her whether they were good or out to harm her in some way. One day while in the local pub, she was sitting in the shadows watching and learning her new powers when Spirit_Lion came in... instantly her eyes closed even though the Lion didn't come close to her. She never did figure out why they did this. One day as she was quietly sitting in the pub, her Grand-Daughter Nala entered but something was very wrong with her. Her vampiric half had taken her over. Nadia stayed hidden and watched as a Saint came to purify Nala but instead, was bitten and turned. This saddened Nadia but also stirred something long hidden deep within herself. What were these feeling deep within her, these dark feelings? Nadia stayed in the shadows and watched as blood went everywhere. The smell of the blood was stirring the feeling inside Nadia but she didn't know why yet. She put herself back to her dream state to find the answers she was seeking. As she went further back into her childhood she remembered the one who had raised her (The Dark Lord) and the gift that he had bestowed on her. She woke from her dream state holding her neck with her eyes closed. She was learning more and more of her childhood and was not liking it at all.

(She remembered a secret that she had buried deep within herself to protect those that she now loved. This secret must never be known or it would most likely bring her heartbreak and death.)

One day in the pub, a long forgotten acquaintance named Skalana entered, her eyes closed as she knew they would for he knew her secret and would use it against her to join him. His mere presence near her brought out the dark evil that was inside her. She quickly disappeared deep within the shadows out of sight of him. There she stayed and watch him closely... But he knew, somehow he knew she was there and made a small cut on his forearm and let a little blood drop to the floor and then quickly left the pub.The smell of his blood stirred these feeling in her again but she pushed them aside while hold tight the pendant that her brother had given to her earlier in the evening.

Her story is ever changing and I will update as I see fit.
