Subject: VIRTUAL THEFT? | |||||
| I just read an article last week about lawmakers considering laws about the theft of virtual items. It specifically mentioned on-line games, such as WOW. Some Japanese lady actually (not virtually) went to jail. Now, I'm not going to pull a Qiu Chengwei on anyone, but I paid my hard earned virtual money for my virtual boat and virtual gear, so they are virtually mine. Legally, it's like you sold me a car and then wouldn't let me have it (sounds like my parents). Of course, I wouldn't take any legal action, because I'm not that much of a putz, BUT (and that's a big but...like an Alicia Keyes butt) I won't play DW anymore if this isn't resolved soon. It's just that I don't know what "improvements" you're going to make in the future and what items you'll take away from us. Aren't you guys working on new weapons and armor. Betcha that'll tick some people off. |
