You want Elements to play a bigger part? then you must line up the rewards for using them. Not just the costs. If you up the costs with the same reward structure, you are just shrinking the market, which means shrinking participants in that market with means less fun for active players who actually use RL money to buy elements (not my case). Again, if you want to improve game experience, give rewards and then make people compete (remember august CBR? Scribe? TF?). But putting obstacles in those competitions won't make it. Just my point of view. |
