| Okay, prepare your brain. Work out the following: There is a shirt you want to buy for £97, So you borrow £50 off your mam, and £50 of your dad. You buy the shirt, leaving you with £3 leftover. You give your mam £1 back, and your dad £1 back, and you keep the other £1. Thus owing your mam £49 and your dad £49. £49 + £49 + £1 (yours) = £99 Where did the other £1 go?? |
