Subject: Loyalty Point Areas | |||||
| Loyalty Points have been awarded for being active in certain parts of the game, e.g. participating in the Upper Ven, the Town Fights, and in more recent times the Local Chat. Having them in areas such as these make sense. Fighting in the Ven helps bring your Clan up in the CBR, and in the Town Fights, it's for members of your town. Both promote competition in the community, and reward you for your efforts. And with the Local Chat, it rewards you for chatting with other players and getting to know one another. These make more sense then, say, applying them to kills in the Rage Castle or the Forests, since they are purely for personal benefit. What I propose is also applying Loyalty Points to Seafaring. The system could be decided by developers - say, 0.1% per fish (Just as an example, not necessarily the best approach) - and it is another area where people work as a team to achieve a goal, so I think it should be treated as such. And it would provide another incentive for people to fish.. maybe promoting more competition in the CPR. Thoughts? |
