I've been testing various wisdom skills for a while and have a few notes: 1. The wisdom portion of the attack completeley bypasses defense and armor. 2. Most wisdom skills are overlaid on top of a strength attack. The strength portion of the attack is subject to your opponent's defense. ----Black magic for example is calculated like this: --a. Attacker's wisdom ap x (1. = amount of wisdom damage ( this portion bypasses defense) --b. Strength damage is the same as a no skills attack Copmbine A and B and you will have the total damage. Mage imperium works on the same principle, but uses a different wisdom multiplier. The main point is that the wisdom damage multiplier is always a small number, but that portion of the attack ignores defense. Strength based skills multiply attack damage by a much larger number, but can be reduced quickly by defense. |
