| The frustration of having the Evil Wizard Afrix as your only opponent option was very frustrating, and made for some boring down time, saving funds for real money or camping. This way those of us who enjoyed levelling more than venning can have an outlet, and I for one think this will help player retention. Kudos to the developers for opening their minds to fixing this quirk, which while it encouraged real money spending, probably had a greater hand in discouraging people from staying in the game. I was so struck by the unfairness, that when I first encountered it I reported it in Bugs and Errors, only to be told this was the way it was designed. AGain, great change! |
