| Adventurers had plundered many ruins over the years, but they always left a certian ruin alone out of a respect that was now forgotten. A young man approached the ruin hoping to find a long-lost treasure chest. He made short work of the rotten door leading to the keep and soon found himself in the great hall. Most of the elegant decorations and sophisticated woodworking were now homes for small creatures of the dark, but that didn't matter. The young adventurer went from room to room expecting to find something of value. He was about to leave with his meager findings when a noise from behind got his attention. He drew his dagger and turned to see what made the noise and found nothing more than a loose stone that had fallen, but at the end of that hallway was a door that he'd missed. The adventurer tried the door, but it was locked. The adventurer tried bashing it down, but it was no good. His curiosity got the better of him and he decided to camp here until more adventurers came by. The adventurer set up camp and waited... |
