| It's just that if I want more ore, I go mine for it. And the more I mine the more effective my mining is. If I want to make my character stronger, I go train, or tramp around in the woods looking for bonuses. If I want to get better at fishing, I fish. Now there's potions and equipment and so on that I can buy to speed that up, but they're adjuncts to the basic method which is essentially: practice. With the ship though, the ONLY way to improve it is to buy the shortcuts, there is NO WAY to practice effectively. That just seems out of whack somehow. |
