Subject: Posting in RP
This falls more in to the manners category than anything else. Of course, manners should be common sense, but it's not very common.

Try to keep posting in an order, and don't speed post. Speed posting is posting over and over using three or four posts to say one thing, and is considered spamming by most RPers.

Bob: One liners are fine
Bob: but when you post one liners
Bob: all the time it can
Bob: get to be really annoying
Bob: and then no one wants to RP with you
Bob: because your thought of as a spammer

That, if in chat would be an example of speed posting. Now if you're posting, and you accidentally hit enter, no biggie, we all make typo/mistakes. Just try to get the rest of that post in on the second post.

Posting Order
Posting order is more or less an unspoken rule among many RPers, as well as common courtesy
This is very simple, and keeps order in the RP. Now of course it should be applied with common sense. For example, the Rpers in chat are. TMP, Havenn, Twili, Rogue, Reaper, Andrew, Liani and Ry Ry. Almost 99% of the time, if not more, they are not all in the exact same RP.

So lets say Group A (Reaper, Liani, TMP and Andrew) are in one RP, and Group B (Havenn, Ry Ry, Rogue, and Twili) are in another RP.

The order would not apply across the board, it would apply as the RPs are. Meaning Group A would have a posting order, and Group B would have a Posting Order.

Let's say the posting order are as their names appear in the list above. It doesn't matter if the posting interlinks or not. Meaning Ry Ry can post anytime as long as it is before Rogue, but after Havenn. It doesn't matter if he posts before or after Liani or Andrew, as long as he stays in his groups posting order.

Of course, an order being "in effect" is up to the RPers who are active at the time, and may not even be in effect if it's only three or four, but it may be. So if it looks like there's some sort of order, it is often wise to keep to it just to avoid trouble. If there is an order but you don't like orders, but the others are insisting on it then it may be best if you not RP with that group.
