Ability every hour, or every half hour for subscribers.

If you want more max ability, you can use 50 sapphires in the dark fortress to raise it by +1. Or, you can buy potions for Game Credits in the GC store. You can also buy potions in the potion shops in certain clans.

There is also the option to temporarily increase your max ability in Local Chat by ordering the drink "Whisky Brave", for 15k gold.
