| but let me say this: Jap whalers are taking around (last time I saw whale wars  ) 150ish wales a year/season, these guys will be lucky if they can take 10 a year/season. Whaling yes is bad very very bad, in my oppionion it's much like the Native Americans VS White Settlers when it came to Buffalo hunting; if all the "product" is used then it's no harm no foul, if it's only the "good stuff" horn, tongue, hide, or in this case what ever the wales have that is "useful" (and I"m douting it's still oil from the head lol) then it's wrong. My point is what the Jap whalers are doing is wrong yes, but these guys will never, never never never NEVER reach the total that the Japanese have unless they some how get ahold of laser sighted harpoon guns and a navy size fleet of ships To avoid a politcal fight that will turn very ugly, I'm just going to ignor the bit about US food aid |
