| then why don't they just put a keylogger on your computer? For a tab to be redirected to a phishing site, you'd need either a macro running in the background, or for the bank itself to redirect people to the scam. You physically cannot make a change on a remote computer terminal unless you either solicit that change, or gain access to that terminal. I'm not an expert in this kind of stuff, but I know enough to recognize that if your computer is accessing weird sites without your consent, you've probably been had already. If I found something like this on my own computer, I would save all my important stuff to an external hard drive, and then do a full system reformat. |
