| Fishing can be profitable from Day 1. There's an easy spot right on the dock itself- you don't even have to move, and you can get Parrot Fish which sell for 800 gold apiece. Even with the starting 25 (24 effective) casts, you can earn back what you paid for a license in a few days. This is much easier than what the old fishing system used to be. Then, when you started, you could catch nothing but Minnows (30g), Suckers (45g), and Shiners (60g). Unless someone gave you 50k for a Kayak, it could take weeks to get fishing to pay off. Really, it's just like everything else. If you want to get to a high level where all the profit is, you're going to have to put a bit of time into it. Training stats is this way, mining is this way, Outposts is this way. |
