Subject: It's not nearly as bad | |||||
| as when Nappy went swimming in Galveston. The water was twice as polluted made people buoyant. I also live in gulf coast. A very short drive from the beach. It's always been nasty and really nothing new. The water is brown and the sand is course. This oil spill didn't change anything. Doesn't mean it's ok or that we should stop trying to improve the conditions and standards by which we transport oil. But if none one here is working toward that goal you are all just complaining about my beach. i have done clean ups along Galveston to help a few times before. if you are so disgusted i hope you are doing more than just posting in DW. |
