i think thats a good idea about the clues, it probably would have helpedif i'd mentioned the tongue-ster

now, your clue of 1977 and British band, and what I know of you, (including you telling me you're a 47 year old punk lol

) leads me to conclude its the Sex Pistols, whom I'm not great on, but if my line of thinking is correct, it is their smash hit..... Pretty Vacant!

phew, that was tough, i like the Sex Pistols, and i've recently been expanding my music collection backwards thru time, i just haven't got to the Sex Pistols yet lol
