| In the 5th grade. At first he was a proud member of his family then all of a sudden his mom becomes an alcoholic and starts treating him like a slave, calling him "it" instead of his name. At first it was him and his two elder brothers, which she treated like kings, then she had two more boys throughout the course of the book which she also treated like kings. She tortures the boy, put him through very nasty "games" that are impossible to win, punishes him for not winning them. It's a true story, written by the man it happened to. It's a very good book. One of his mother's "games" was putting him in the restroom and telling him to clean it. She barred all windows, put a bucket of Bleach mixed with Amonia in the restroom with him and closed the door. now tell me that isn't disgusting.. |
