Subject: here's your problem...

don't use beserker rage - it sucks. as appealing as it sounds, the fact that it blocks out all other skills whilst your flailing around in a rage makes it suck.

Slow Mind is an awesome skill, and ive got it, but since i beat the Tobo Dragon and got Dire Hit, i simply use Dire Hit now instead.

I'm assuming your still a swordie, since you have beserker rage? In which case, have you considered switching to acolyte? I'm not suggesting you stay as an acolyte, god no, buy if you have the sapps, switch to acolyte and then switch back. Whilst your an acolyte, buy Unleash Hell and Pray.
Its important that you buy both - UH because its possibly the best non devious ridge skill for causing damage in the game, and pray because you will win soooo many more battles.

I managed to save up 100 sapps to do this, it feels like a lifetime ago now, lol, and I instantly noticed a massive improvement to my kills in the ven. And it let me beat Tobo and Dragon Trainer Dan earlier than i would have without it
