| That's a hard one. I don't think you can compare the two books with any kind of relevance because the subject matter is so massively different. They are both classics in their own right. But if I had to choose, Eric Blair wins. Along with all his other books: Down & out...Road to Wigan Pier... Aspidistra... Animal Farm...Coming up for Air, etc, etc, etc. Tolkien's got Hobbitt, Silmarillion, (finished by his son). Orwell was more prolific. Anyway  |
