| Jack stared out into space. Not looking at anything or observing anything. His mind was turned inward reliving his horrible past. So much destruction and chaos he used to cause. So much suffering. He knew now that he needed to change. Needed to make amends for the pain he has caused. No more was he the bloody murderer that left carcasses in his wake. "A hundred years," he whispered into the wind, "It's been a hundred years to the day. Time for my return. Time to help not destroy." He stood up, put his hands in his pockets, and headed for town. "....and so it begins." He whispered. |
