Subject: Yawning a bit... | |||||
| As she is helped from the horse at the spot that camp was to be made she yawns unexpectedly. Her body seeming a bit weak and tired from the long ride that day. She watched as a tent was set in the middle of camp surrounded by more, slightly smaller tents around it yet still close by. As she was led to the large tent she noticed two other men standing guard and she got a sinking sensation in the pit of her belly. Later when she was ready to turn in she heard the large man outside the tent, she poked her head out a moment and nodded to him as he entered then listened to what he said...It took several moments for it to sink in what he told her. "You mean...I am a princess? A real princess? What of my other family? Can you tell me what its like at the kingdom you are taking me? And what of the woman I was raised by? I must get word back to her that I am sorry about running out and hurting her. I was angry because she kept it a secret that I was found on the stoop for as long as she did. Was there a note or something for them not to let me know the truth about who I was?" She had so many questions. |
