| Looking up she sees the man running from deep in the forest she scoots back as much as she can not sure who he is but eases up and wipes her eyes again as she hears him say his name... "I..I'm Nikki...I think..I am not sure who I really am." She looks away to hide her face a bit.."I....I was...." She then stopped..He did not want to hear her story of how she was raised by a stranger. She then looked up again and started over. "I am Nikki. I am out looking for different wildflowers and such to study." She hoped this lie would not be seen through but she doubted it as she knew it even sounded like a lie to her. She then looked at the flower again then back to her finger. "The flower has sharp parts, be careful, it stuck me and it was I who screamed because it startled me more than it really hurt." This part was truthful and she hoped her voice changing to more of a direct tone would go unnoticed by the handsome man. |
